We understand that no two projects are alike, and tailor every timeline, style, and process to the client’s needs.
PHASE 1 | CONCEPT
During our first meeting with you, we listen. We ask questions to learn more about the project, your design preferences, your lifestyle needs, and most importantly, you. We then discuss scope, anticipated budget, and timing. Our goal is to understand you, so that we can create a home that reflects the way you live.
Based on what we’ve learned about your lifestyle, design needs, architectural plans, and goals, we develop a mindfully-crafted design concept. This includes furnishing layouts, samples of finishes, paint, flooring and fabrics to provide you with an initial overview of the design.
PHASE 2 | CONSTRUCTION
Construction Material Selections
The design develops as we work alongside the client, architect, and contractor to identify the items necessary for construction. We select materials for flooring, walls, ceilings, lighting, kitchens, bathrooms, and fireplaces. We also assist with plumbing and millwork selections.
Based on the final selections, we finalize drawings in auto-cad and create detailed schedules for construction materials. With all of this information, we create a customized Specification Binder which we provide to the client and contractor for their reference as the home moves into construction.
PHASE 3 | DESIGN
Interior Design Selections
From our curated list of craftsmen and manufacturers, we select all interior furnishings and prepare a presentation detailing everything from upholstery and window coverings to accessories. We walk you through our process of selecting items for proper scale, proportion, finish, and aesthetic.
Approval, Ordering & Warehousing
All selections are uploaded to your exclusive online account, where you have access to view proposed items and order tracking. Our team confirms pricing and lead times, and shipment is arranged to our expansive warehouse where all items are catalogued, inspected, and stored in preparation for installation.
PHASE 4 | INSTALL
After the contractor has completed construction and a final cleaning of the home, the installation process begins. This phase takes between 1 to 2 weeks and includes hanging window coverings, laying rugs, placing all furnishings, making beds, hanging art, and placing accessories so that your home is perfectly designed.
We pride ourselves on our white glove installation process; one that allows the client to seamlessly move into their new home. We kick off the reveal with a home walk through with the client, designer, contractor, and architect. We then host a team celebration to welcome you to your beautiful new home.
